Oak Ridge is in a beautiful country area, on about 12 acres surrounded by farmland. The base itself is a renovated Christian Campsite, with various accommodation buildings, 2 lecture rooms, kitchen/dining/lounge, and all accompanying facilities.
The region is known for dairy & sheep farming, beautiful native bush and fantastic beaches - an ideal place to draw aside for a time and grow to know God in a deeper way.

Oak Ridge is not just about bricks and mortar. God's word to us in the beginning - from Jeremiah 29:5 "...build houses and settle down ... increase don’t decrease ..." In the past few years the base has grown, with the help of YWAMer's and the local community. Our main thrust is to run the Discipleship Training School and Basic Leadership School, but we also have other initiatives and plans. Through training and providing facilities, our vision is to bless the local community and to go beyond - to the South Pacific (particularly Vanuatu) and South East Asia.
At Oak Ridge, we like to see singles, married couples and families join together for a life-changing experience.
