Epic Kids PaparoaOne branch of the Oak Ridge Tree of ministries is our work in the Local Community.
In response to the call to reach Jerusalem (our immediate surroundings), Judea (the nation we are in) and the uttermost parts of the earth (overseas)we are focusing on the needs around us as well as the "traditional" outreach going across the water.
This venture began as a dream of Makaia Inghams during her DTS in Newcastle.
It quickly developed into firstly a Kids Club in Maungaturoto on Saturday afternoons, then we also ran a cafe which became a hub in the community.
Currently we run Epic Kids in Maungaturoto and Paparoa for 5 to 11 year olds, Zahara Nights for 10 - 13 year old girls in Maugaturoto, and are developing a Community Centre there in conjunction with the local Church!
This is a hugely exciting part of our ministry which is growing rapidly. The opportunities to bring the Kingdom of God into people's lives are many and we have the desire to see God transform and work amongst us!
