Adventure DTS

The aim of the adventure DTS is ultimately to stretch and challenge you in different ways. By having an adventure with God and developing good team spirit, getting to know Him, exploring His character, discovering & using your unique God given gifts and calling.

Alongside this, the adventure theme also combines weekend activities which vary from school to school. Some example's of past adventures are; snorkeling off the coast, camping in the bush, hiking around New Zealand's coasts and mountains, Sea kayaking, white water rafting...

As Oak Ridge has a focus on Community Development, this is reflected in the DTS programme as well.
During the lecture phase we also include outreach, working with kids clubs and with young teens in the local areas. Some of this work is already established, but we are wanting to expand into more areas around us.

This school is not for the faint hearted - it is for those who are serious about the calling God has on their lives and want to learn how to live it to the full, transforming their own lives and the communities they live and work in.
